The work is a reinterpretation of Les Demoiselles d'Avignon by Pablo Picasso. By inverting the gender identity of the protagonists, Agredano implements a hypersexualization of the human body and demystifies the scopophilic logic that lies behind the original painting. Furthermore, it is possible to identify an ironic reference to the conjectured homosexuality of Picasso, also playing on the phonetic proximity between the words «guys» and «gays».
