Pietro Di Leo, thirty-seven years old, lives and works in Milan. He is employed in the internal security of a department store downtown. He is separated from his wife, with a five-year-old son whom he can only see on weekends, and his life goes on by inertia. He is alone, dissatisfied, lost. The meeting with Pabe, a nomadic girl caught in the act of a crime, is transformed from the usual initial distrust into a desire to get in touch with that "diversity", to discover how irreconcilable are two worlds so distant from each other, not only in appearance. Together with Pabe, Pietro plans to escape. They travel south along the Italian coast out of season. Pabe has to slowly adapt and change his appearance, while a love story begins that will lead them both to invent a possible new way of life. (Source: Cinematografo)
