Riccardo Morri

Full professor of geography into the Department of Literature and Modern Cultures of Sapienza University of Rome, where he is Head of Teaching and Research Activities of the Geocartographic Laboratory. Coordinator of the Commission for the knowledge and study of Geography in schools established at the Ministry of Education on 30 March 2022. President of the Italian Association of Geography Teachers (2018-2022), President of the master's degree course in Management and enhancement of the territory ( 2015 2018, 2018 2021) and since 2018 Director of the class A scientific journal of Geography Studies and Research of Sapienza University of Rome. Responsible for national and international funded research projects, member of scientific committees of research organizations, collaborates as referee with class A scientific journals, and is the author of almost 150 scientific contributions (over 100 publications, in addition to the organization of exhibitions conferences, training initiatives). Interested in the study of migratory movements and the community dimension of the memory-territory relationship, in recent years he has been involved in processes of recovery and enhancement of the Italian academic geographical heritage in a perspective of public engagement and lifelong learning.
